Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue currently uses dispatches through Eastside Communications through an existing contract. Eastside Communications is a major partner in part of an initiative that, if approved, would consolidate their communication services into the new agency which would be manage by a number of public entities.

This means that Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue will need to plan an alternative to its current dispatching services.

The options currently under consideration are as follows:

1) Join the new NORCOMM agency. We could be a primary or

2) Evaluate the possibility of switching to KITTCOM
3) Evaluate the possibility of self dispatching. This is may be impractical because it would require having someone on duty 24/7 to answer the phone.
